Last night the historic Kia Forum in Los Angeles, joined with a sold out crowd of MONSTIEZ, fandom name, welcomed BABYMONSTER as they hit the stage in LA for the first time. The crowd, decked in red and black while proudly showcasing their devil horned accessories, and the arena, bathed in red light from the stage, were ready! Set, turn out the lights!
The seven members, Ruka (루카), Pharita (파리타), Asa (아사), Ahyeon (아현), Rami (라미), Rora (로라) and Chiquita (치키타) came out swinging, performing some of their most known high energy tracks, “BATTER UP” “SHEESH” and “CLIK CLAK” to start off the show. Opening with G-Dragon composed track “DRIP” BABYMONSTER led us into a night of excitement.
BABYMONSTER quickly headed into solo stages, giving the members each an opportunity to highlight their strengths. Mics were on as several members performed ballad style covers, Rami delivering insanely impressive high notes during “Pick up Your Feelings” by Jazmine Sullivan. Switching up the energy, Asa and Ruka delivered fast paced rap numbers “Godzilla” by Eminem and “Gwola” by Honey Cocaine before teaming up for their hip hop duet “Wake Up in Tokyo”.

The tour featured the addition of a live band, Inspire Band, giving all the numbers a fully rounded energy and bringing each number to life. After an energetic musical interlude by the band, the seven members lined the stage to perform slow tracks “Love, Maybe” and “Dream”, once again showcasing they’ve got the pipes.
As the night was coming to a close, BABYMONSTER took the stage wearing bright silver costumes, embellished with ruffles and sparkles to perform flashy dance number “BILLIONAIRE”. Paying homage to fellow YG members and iconic KPop girl group 2NE1, BABYMONSTER delivered tracks “Clap Your Hands” and “Go Away”. Taking center stage for final number “Love in my Heart”, the members interacted with the crowd, waving to fans as confetti streamers exploded from the stage.
BABYMONSTER took the stage one final time for an encore performance of “SHEESH”, “BATTER UP”,“DRIP” and “Love in my Heart” before closing the show with “Stuck in the Middle”. Taking the encore to engage with fans, taking selfies and accepting some fan gifts while offering their thanks to their team and MONSTIEZ, the members shared in their excitement in brining the tour to life.
Debuting only in 2024, BABYMONSTER has quickly grabbed the attention of audiences. From debut track "SHEESH", their most recent album DRIP , to their current world tour, the seven members continue to grow and show they are a force to be reckoned with. BABYMONSTER will head to twelve stops internationally, including Kanagawa, Osaka, Hong Kong and Taipei before heading back to North America for their newly announced summer dates.
