After performing in seven cities throughout North and South America, K-Pop group JUST B wraps up their JUST BE WITH YOU Tour with their final stop in Los Angeles CA. MIXTAPE 317 was invited to attend JUST B's Press Conference, held by The KStage, before their final show. Check out what group members Lim Jimin, Bain, Geonu, JM, DY and Sangwoo had to say about their tour as it comes to close, upcoming plans and even some song recommendations. What was the process of coming up with the setlist?
DY: We wanted to offer something new and refreshing, so we really put emphasis on our new fresh sound for fans to enjoy.
Can you share some memorable moments throughout the tour?
Sangwoo: “It’s cliche […] but the most memorable moment would be the stage, performing. Especially during the encore where we can see our fans very excited. That would be the most memorable part of this tour.
Which JUSTB song would you recommend for ONLY B when taking a walk?
Lim Jimin: “Night Stroll", I prefer having ONLY B listen to songs produced by DY. We believe he is musically talented, and especially [this] song at night time would fit the mood.
Sangwoo: One song I would recommend is "Youth", during the time we would have to walk to the company for practice that is one of the songs that really helped [me] to overcome anything in life and that’s something that is very inspiring for me”.
What has the [JUST BE WITH YOU Tour] experience been like for you?
DY: So this is our first North and South American tour. To say the least, it was very tiresome to go around. We’re very honored seeing our fans and just being inspired by them it made me realize it is going to push me to try more and make more music.
Lim Jimin: Its been a blessing for us to go on this first tour, world tour, and see the fans, this really inspired our group to really push ourselves and to come by next time with more energy and more excitement.
Which song do you like performing the most?
Lim Jimin: If I were to pick a song it would be "Domino", we can tell that all the fans are enjoying and are very energetic when we perform, it really brings them up when they see it.
Geonu: "Daddy's Girl", it's our brand new song, not yet released, but you can see it tonight. We will show our best energy to perform because this is the last stop on our tour. Look forward to it please.
What do you want to accomplish this year?
Geonu: “As a group, much bigger tour, lots and lots more fans to come to our show. More love, more energy, more health.”
