Lately it feels like every scroll on Instagram or TikTok results in the discovery of another female pop artist - and who are we to complain about that! It’s pop girlie o’clock and it is the perfect time to find a new favorite artist to add to your playlist. Many people might know Natalie Jane from her viral TikTok videos, with fans trying to recreate her impressive vocal riffs. Originally from New Jersey, the LA-based artist just wrapped up her North America leg of her The World I Didn’t Want Tour at the end of March 2026 and is now touring throughout Europe and the United Kingdom until May. Jane played to a sold out crowd at the intimate Washington D.C. venue, The Atlantis, on March 23, 2026.

Fans of all ages packed the general admission venue, pressed close to the barricade near the low stage or looking down from above in the balcony. Lines at the merch window were long and nonexistent at the bars as many fans at the All Ages show were on the younger side. Groups of friends held signs with messages for Jane in one hand and “My First Show” certificates in the other (distributed by the venue at the door.)

Here’s our top five moments from this show that we would be happy to relive again.

1. Iconic Look: Mermaid Rocker Vibes

After a short set from opener Colby!, Jane took the stage, sporting a royal blue body suit and knee high boots with fake grass and flowers lining the edge of the stage. The outfit let her move freely around the stage and its simplicity gave way to what fans were really there for - the artist’s powerful voice. The base was booming as the orchestral opening notes of “any1 but myself” began to play and Jane belted out her iconic lyrics about the pressure of trying to fit the societal mold. For the first, but not last time for the night, fans scream-sang the lyrics “Why do I always feel like I’m falling behind? I spend every minute wishing I’m someone else.” Jane’s long, curly hair flew around her like a veil as she danced around the stage, jumping during the base drops of songs like “4ever” and “never gonna c u again” from her latest album the world I didn’t want.

2. Lexi?! Jane Dedicates a Song to a Fan in the Crowd

In between songs, a member of Jane’s crew brought her a phone, reading out loud a DM she received the night before, “My ex is a huge Natalie Jane fan and I bought her tickets to your DC show before we broke up. I wanted to shoot my shot and see if you could get a message to her: ‘Lexi, if you’re here, I love you, I miss you, and if you’re here, please unblock me. That risky text was not meant for your Mom.’” Lexi called out from the upper balcony as the crowd was consumed by laughter and screams of shock and horror. Jane was all smiles and excitement as she dedicated “Somebody to Someone” to Lexi, even ad-libbing “Lexi, he just wants to fall in love” before continuing the song.

3. Elmo Balloon and Birthdays Galore

In a world where everyone wants the most Instagramable moment to share on their story or in their group chat, Jane catered to fans’ every wish during her short set. She signed posters, sang happy birthday, and even brought up four young fans to the stage to dance with her. Early in the set, a fan called out asking her to draw a tattoo for her and she obliged, the poster passed over the packed crowd near the stage to get the paper to and from the excited fan. Jane’s crew brought out a birthday card and giant Elmo balloon for her to pass to a fan, which remained in the crowd for the rest of the show, bobbing along to the music as the lucky fan danced along.

4. Who the F*ck is Ava?

Towards the end of her set, Jane laid down on the stage on her stomach, kicking her feet behind her as if she was at home on her couch. The opening chords of popular track “AVA” began to play before Jane stood back up again and took a selfie with a fan’s disposable camera, shaking her hair along with the driving drum beat. Singing directly into the recording iPhone of a fan at barricade, everyone in the venue joined in for a deafening chorus of “Who the f*ck is Ava? Is she the other girl? I bet she’s tryin’ to date ya and be your entire world!” Whoever Ava is, I’m sure their ears were burning that night.

5. Everyone Has the Same Intrusive Thoughts

Jane seemed unafraid to let the crowd drown out her singing, holding her mic out during “Intrusive Thoughts” confirming that even middle schoolers are afraid they will never fall in love. With lyrics like “I’m historically heartbroken drowning in my own emotions” and “What if I never find anybody to love or I finally get the chance and I f*ck it all up?” Jane is releasing songs into the universe that identify with so many of her fans and can grab onto casual listeners in a quick moment as they scroll on social media. In a world where everything feels hopeless, it really does feel good to be able to scream out lyrics in the car that embody the most intrusive thoughts that live deep inside.

Once known for landing a spot in American Idol’s Top 40, Natalie Jane is now pushing even further into mainstream by joining popular American DJ Kaskade on stage at COACHELLA for a new, unreleased song. When fans watching the stream at home noticed that Jane’s pitch sounded a little off, both artists took to social media to explain how a minor tempo change from Kaskade’s end resulted in a key change for Jane singing live on the biggest stage of her career. Both handled the small misstep with professionalism and the general consensus online is that Jane proved in that moment that not only can she sing, but she also knows her music theory to adjust in real time. Things are just getting started for this talented vocalist and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

Tickets are still available for her tour stops in April and May in Europe and the UK on nataliejanesings.com.
