ONE OK ROCK’s Live from DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025 Excites Theater Audiences Worldwide

| Immersing fans into their live performance, Live from DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025 presented in CJ 4DPLEX’s SCREENX brings you up close with the rock legends.
After performing across North America, Europe, and Japan, international rock group ONE OK ROCK brings their 2025 DETOX World Tour to theaters. Live from DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025 hit theatres in the US on April 30th after premiering in Japan on April 17th.
Alongside the theatre release, the group released 6-track EP Live from DETOX JAPAN TOUR 2025, which features live versions of “Make It Out Alive,” “NASTY,” “Party's Over,” “Renegades,” “Delusion:All,” and “The Pilot </3.” Taking place at the landmark Nissan Stadium, their hometown performance to 70,000 fans marked a performance to remember.

Taka (森内 貴寬), Toru (山下 亨), Ryota (小浜 良太) and Tomoya (神吉 智也) recently hit 20 years together as a group and continue to connect to fans worldwide. Their 2025 album DETOX serves as a celebration of the group's longevity and reconnected them to their pure rock roots. After the more pop-rock centered Luxury Disease released in 2024, DETOX recenters heavier sounds and grittier lyrics - exploring themes of political instability, personal connection and finding a place among the chaos of the world. The film takes the message even further, their on stage performances emphasizing the importance of pushing through hardships while remaining true to yourself.
Giving it their all, Toru, on guitar and Tomoya, on bass , command the stage while effortlessly shredding each number. Ryota, on drums, though stationary, shines with his high energy performance emphasizing every drum hit with power. Taka roams the stage, flawlessly belting out each note with his powerful and gritty vocals - even performing a portion of the show with a broken foot he injured during the concert. The members each shine in their own right, while collectively their intense energy, captivating expressions, endurance, and raw talents make them a powerhouse rock group.
Presented in CJ 4DPLEX’s SCREENX and 4DX, the film immerses the audience with panoramic visuals. I once skipped a movie in 4DX because I had assumed it meant shaking seats and physical elements thrown at you, similar to the 4D movies at theme parks. Instead, I was met with a 270 degree screen, with visuals that extend onto the side walls of the theatre.
If you’ve never had the chance to attend a ONE OK ROCK concert, this is a great opportunity to catch the group in their element, and if you’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live, this film will only ignite your passion as a fan.
