Fans packed into the Kia Forum for Reneé Rapp’s largest Los Angeles show to date, a nearly sold-out stop on her 2025 'BITE ME' Tour. For the LA native, the night felt like both a triumphant homecoming and a celebration of how far she’s come, filling one of the city’s most iconic venues with unapologetic energy, emotion, and connection.

Reneé Rapp first captured audiences through her breakout role as Regina George in Mean Girls: The Musical on Broadway and later gained even wider recognition starring in HBO’s The Sex Lives of College Girls. But it’s her music that’s cemented her as a force, mixing vulnerability, sharp lyrics, and pop-rock style. Her songs tackle heartbreak, self-worth, and the chaos of growing up and from that has built a loyal community that sees themselves in her words.
Before Rapp hit the stage, Syd, of the Grammy-nominated group The Internet, opened the night with her signature smooth and soulful vibe. Mixing tracks from her band with solo cuts like “Die for This” and “Out Loud,” her soothing vocals filled the Forum and set the perfect tone for what was to come.

As Syd wrapped her set, anticipation buzzed through the crowd. Then, the lights dimmed. The crowd erupted as a playful intro VCR showed Renee in a meeting-style skit with her acting in different personas. As the silk curtain opened, Reneé emerged elevated on stage, launching into “Leave Me Alone.” The energy was instant and electric. Backed by her full live band, she moved effortlessly through her setlist, performing fan favorites like “Poison Poison,” “Mad,” and her personal favorite, “I Can’t Have You Around Me.” Between songs, she would take moments to pause and take it all in, or even grin from ear to ear as she told the crowd how good it felt to be back home, a moment that drew one of the loudest cheers of the night.

Yet in true LA fashion, Reneé brought out some surprises. The audience roared when she pointed out Cara Delevingne and Jake Shane watching from backstage during “I Think I Like You Better When You’re Gone.” Later, she invited Leon Thomas onstage for an exclusive live performance of their collaboration “Mutt,” before closing out the guest moments with her girlfriend, Towa Bird, joining her for their portion of the song “At Least I’m Hot.”
Reneé Rapp’s LA show at the Kia Forum was more than a milestone, it was a statement. A night defined by love, laughter, and community, it captured everything her artistry stands for. From powerful vocals to intimate moments with fans, Renee left the Forum glowing, and her fans counting down the days until they could experience it all over again.
