K-pop icon SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS and MINGYU are set to make their unit debut as CxM (SEVENTEEN) with the release of their 1st Mini Album HYPE VIBES on September 29.

Providing a first glimpse into the highly anticipated album, a trailer filmed in Los Angeles dropped today, capturing S.COUPS and MINGYU living freely in the moments of their daily lives. Waking up disheveled after a vibrant night out, the duo moves through their day with small yet lively moments, their natural cool blending with the city’s upbeat atmosphere. When the video closes at a beach party, the duo’s infectious energy radiates through a diverse crowd, embodying their free-spirited vibe and genuine connection with others.

The trailer also introduces their animated characters—Kuute and Mante—playfully imagined as alien beings who journeyed to Earth to recharge through music, adding a fun and enjoyable dimension to their unfolding musical narrative.

HYPE VIBES, representing CxM’s ethos of fully embracing the present in their own rhythm, welcomes everyone to join their vibe and connect with one another. Originally planned as a single album, the unit expanded it into a mini album to offer a richer spectrum of music that celebrates each colorful moment of everyday life.

While the unit embarks on a new trail with the upcoming album, SEVENTEEN is also gearing up for their new world tour ‘SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_],’ kicking off in Korea this month before heading to the U.S. with stops in Tacoma, WA (October 11), Los Angeles, CA (October 16 & 17), Austin, TX (October 21 & 22), Sunrise, FL (October 26 & 27), and Washington, DC (October 30). The group also celebrates their second consecutive nomination for ‘Best Group’ at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, a category they won last year.
