Global K-pop exhibition D’FESTA, hosted by Dispatch, has landed at California's The Source OC. The immersive experience, set to open to the public at the end of summer, features nine K-pop groups: Enhypen, TXT, Stray Kids, NCT Dream, Twice, NCT 127, Seventeen, BTS, and Nu’est.
Upon arrival in the exhibition you are greeted with member portraits decorated with hand written notes and drawings from the idols, turning the corner to a second room room filled wall to wall with black and white images. If you thought your favorite idols were beautiful before wait until you see these gorgeous floor to ceiling portraits of all the members.
Throughout the exhibit you'll experience never before seen photos and artwork, including paintings crafted by each group. Watch the idols at work and get a glimpse into the creation of each painting with behind the scenes videos. A portion of the exhibit is lined with beautiful high color conceptual photos of each group with solo member shots. As it's easy to get immersed looking into the eyes of your favorite idols don't forget to take the time to learn more and read about the concepts behind each group's photo set as you walk through.
As the exhibit continues bust a move, not your knees, at the interactive dance stage and follow up with the Artist Pic photo booth. Following the experience fans can head upstairs to CGV Cinema for an immersive K-pop concert experience where you'll get to see two specials performances from each of the featured groups.
The Source OC is no stranger to the world of K-Pop and is home to many Korean owned business. With K-Pop, K-Beauty and Korean restaurants lining the shopping center as well a stage where you can enjoy dance groups, musical performances and even K-Pop artist busking there is much to explore on your visit.
