82MAJOR is a K-Pop boy group from South Korea, formed under Great M Entertainment. The group consists of six members, Cho Seongil (조성일), Yoon Yechan (윤예찬), Nam Seongmo (남성모), Hwang Seongbin (황성빈), Park Seokjoon (박석준), and Kim Dogyun (김도균). They debuted in October of 2023 with the single “On.” Through their official debut and with the help of a few pre-release singles, 82MAJOR took the world by storm. They charted on the Billboard Top 100 within their first year, a feat not known to many groups. In the years following, 82MAJOR have kept their pace up, releasing new music every year and bringing in fans with their energy.

In L.A.’s warm night air, 82MAJOR kicked off the night with a stellar performance of “TAKEOVER” and “Stuck.” The audience matched the group’s energy and brought the excitement up a notch. “I’m super proud to see everyone cheering for us,” Dogyun remarked. They continued the night with “Heroes” and “Gossip,” giving the audience a show they will never forget. The start of the night was full of intense energy, bringing out the best in the audience and the group as a whole.

Throughout the night 82MAJOR did not shy away from their audience. Their fans, lovingly named “82DE,” were always greeted with bright smiles from the group. They stayed on stage in between performances to interact with fans and to share their feelings throughout the night. “Your reactions are really great,” Yechan addressed the audience’s response to 82MAJOR’s performance. “We will give all our energy to this performance,” Seongil agreed.

What Seongil promised, 82MAJOR delivered. With songs like “Face Time,” “Thorns,” and “Birthday,” the group displayed an incredible accuracy in their dance ability. All their lines were crisp and clean, the formations tight, and the moves precise. Not a single spark of energy was wasted. The group moved together as a unit, but also added their own flair to the dance as it allowed. Most importantly, 82MAJOR enjoyed themselves on stage. All of the members had a genuine joy throughout the night and it allowed the audience to feed off their happiness and match it. Much of the choreography could be likened to party dances, where the members dance with a groove that makes the audience dance with them.

During the concert, they performed one of the pre-debut songs, “Sure Thing,” and set their vocal ability on full display. All six of the members’ mics were hot and live, delivering vocals that made 82DE cheer the members on. As beautiful as their vocals were, rap is truly where 82MAJOR shines. In a performance of “82,” each member raps their own verse with their own words, flow, and vibe. Not a beat was missed and each member displayed immense strength in the rhythm. Another song, “Illegal,” was an especially important part of the night’s events. “Illegal is the foundation we’ve been built upon,” Yechan informed. The other members agreed and humbly thanked the fans. 82DE could feel the passion behind the performance and supported every song by either singing along or cheering.

This North America tour shows that 82MAJOR are rising stars and incredible live performers. “We wouldn’t be here without the fans,” Yechan expressed. Seongmo agreed by saying, “Meeting our American fans, I immediately felt so much support from you all. We’re going to do our very best to come back and put on another fun, exciting, and cool performance for you guys.” Even though they have only been active for a few years, these members perform like seasoned veterans. They are confident in themselves, their music, and their fans.
