NCT’s TAEYONG, one of K-pop’s most dynamic performers and creative voices, released his first full-length solo album, WYLD, today via SM Entertainment, alongside the official music video for the title track “WYLD.”
The 10-track album marks a major milestone in TAEYONG’s solo career, capturing his raw instinct, artistic conviction, and unmistakable “Neo” identity. With TAEYONG involved across all tracks, WYLD highlights his growth as a musician and his fearless approach to genre, moving through hip-hop, jazz, rock, electronic, hyperpop, and future bass influences.
Title track “WYLD” is a hard-hitting hip-hop track driven by heavy bass, powerful percussion, and layered experimental sounds. Inspired by the movement of wild animals, the song captures a raw, instinctive energy, while TAEYONG’s explosive chorus delivers a rush of cathartic release. The lyrics express his determination to keep moving forward and chase his goals without holding back.

Across the album, TAEYONG expands the world of WYLD through tracks that showcase different sides of his artistry. The project includes songs first revealed at his January concert TY TRACK – REMASTERED, including “Skiii,” “Feeling Myself,” “Mermaid,” and “404 Euphoria,” alongside new tracks that push further into his experimental sound. From the EDM-driven energy of “I’m a Dancing Cactus” to the performance-focused intensity of “Storm,” the album reflects TAEYONG’s versatility as both a musician and performer.
Ahead of the release, TAEYONG hosted a special exhibition and listening event in Seoul, giving fans an early look into the world of WYLD and sharing stories behind the album and his creative process.
"I’m really excited and looking forward to sharing this album. Over the past two years, I spent a lot of time looking back on my previous work, learning, and pushing myself to grow. I worked on this album with the hope of showing a more evolved side of myself, and I hope it becomes a project that awakens your musical instincts,” TAEYONG shared on the release.
