In the final moments of 2025, SEVENTEEN made an appearance in Los Angeles for their ‘[NEW_] World Tour.’ The South Korean boy group enters the stage to a waiting audience full of excitement. The concert showcased the group’s rise to stardom within the last ten years.

The night started strong with “HBD,” “THUNDER,” and “DOMINO.” All three songs had new flavors and colors embedded in the sound. The fans (lovingly known as “CARATS”), rose to their feet and screamed with excitement. With the opening set, the members slowly appeared throughout the first few verses, bringing louder cheers and more energy to the crowd. They used the full scope of the stage to bring the audience’s eyes to different parts of the venue. SEVENTEEN has always created a theatrical event around their concerts and performances, and this concert was no different.

Currently four members, Jeonghan (정한), Wonwoo (원우), Hoshi (호시), and Woozi (우지), are currently serving their mandatory military enlistment, but the nine remaining members, Mingyu (민규), The8 (디에잇), Joshua, DK (도겸), Jun (준), S.Coups (에스쿱스), Vernon, Sengkwan (승관) and Dino (디노), show the group stands strong despite their missing members. SEVENTEEN is known for their large size, but also for their breakout units (composed of three or more). They do not shy away from standing as individuals or as smaller crews. For this tour, each of the nine members performed their own solo pieces, released from their fifth album HAPPY BURSTDAY. Every song showed a different side to each member. From club vibes to heartfelt ballads, the air was full of the creative genius of this group.

Joshua, a former L.A. local, addressed the crowd and said, “L.A. has changed but our CARATS have not.” The members all resounded with agreement and thanked the fans for their continued support throughout the ten years of their activity.

As the solos finished, the group returned to full strength and performed “HOT,” a recent title track. True to its name, “HOT” was accompanied with dazzling pyrotechnics. The flames shot up into the air with each hit of the song. This only fueled the fans, who participated in dancing and singing along in the chorus. From there, they ended their main set with more fan favorites like “HIT” and “Rock With You.” By the end, every audience member was on their feet jumping and cheering with the music. In true SEVENTEEN style, the members were able to make the audience feel a part of the performance. Dino, the group’s youngest member, said, “I think L.A. is such a wonderful place. I can perform on stage because of you, CARATS.” Vernon agreed and said, “Everytime we come back to L.A., the energy you give us is insane. That’s what keeps us going.”

After an incredible performance, the night seemed to be over, however, SEVENTEEN is known for one thing during their concerts. No matter how it seems, there will be an encore featuring their iconic song “VERY NICE.” Before the members came out to perform an encore, a video started to play on the LEDs. The cameras swept through the crowd and found participants to dance along to shortened versions of SEVENTEEN’s greatest hits. This brought on a competitive aura to the arena, causing fans to scream louder for attention. The members then came out from backstage and performed songs from their early days. After ten years in the music industry, their older works are still fan favorites. “A-TEEN,” “9-TEEN,” and “20” all held nostalgia and love from both the members and CARATS. Many fans did not know if they would ever hear those songs live, but SEVENTEEN delivered. And as promised, the night ended with several rounds of “VERY NICE.” Every fan jumped with the members, not a drop of energy wasted.

As the final notes of “VERY NICE” rang out from the speakers, SEVENTEEN waved goodbye to their fans. Every soul left the arena with joy in their bones and an untamable energy. All of the members have the gift of making the world feel full of music. The feeling of watching SEVENTEEN perform live cannot be recreated.
