NO TRAGEDY captures the sextet defying predetermined destiny and shaping their own love story. Their headfirst pursuit of love highlights their elevated confidence and evolving artistic identity with more mature, sophisticated sounds.

At the center of the release is the lead single “You, You,” which channels the rush of falling deeply for someone, expressing those emotions with clarity and without hesitation. Built around the playful cadence of the hook repeating “Dda-rum,” the track unfolds with an addictive sense of momentum, culminating in a radiant, feel-good ode to romance.

The lead single’s music video features a playful yet suspenseful storyline of the boys defying a looming star to claim their own happy ending. Opening with the ominous warning, ‘BEWARE THE STAR’S CURSE AGAINST LOVE,’ the video immediately sets a tense tone, as the members face an overwhelming force represented by the “star.” Yet instead of yielding to fate, TWS reinterpret the idea of ‘star-cross’d lovers’ into ‘star-crushing lovers’ as they push forward in defiance and reclaim control over their own love story. The visualizer balances tension with playful unpredictability—from heart-shaped water streams aimed at the star to fast-paced bicycle chases—bringing a lighthearted yet dynamic energy.

At its climax, each member confronts the star in their own way, culminating in a striking moment where it shatters into radiant fragments. That moment carries into the final scene, where the boys celebrate beneath the broken star’s scattering pieces. Through this arc, TWS transform what begins as a fate-driven story into one shaped by choice—presenting a refreshing take on love defined by conviction rather than destiny. The result is a bright, self-determined narrative that reinforces the group’s signature youthful perspective.

Alongside “You, You,” the album spans across a wide range of genres with 5 other tracks—a vibrant house-based “All the Possibilities,” an all-English pop track “Why You So Bad?”, a boom bap hip-hop track with punk and rock elements “Get It Now,” an uptempo dance pop track with hyperpop and hip-hop influences “Fire Escape,” and a dreamy track with a gradually building progression “Back To Strangers”—further enriching their musical spectrum.

Anchored by their distinct ‘Boyhood Pop’ genre and solid performances, TWS’ relentless growth is evident with this release, as the album has surpassed approximately 1.16 million pre-orders as of April 24—signaling their first million-seller milestone. Further underscoring their global rise, they were recently named the only K-pop act on Rolling Stone’s Future 25, a list spotlighting the most exciting voices shaping the sound of tomorrow, which praised them as “one of the most exciting and energetic K-pop groups today.”

TWS’ 5th Mini Album NO TRAGEDY is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide.
